Jon Harrison

I began my coaching career in 2015 as a middle school football coach. After two years at that level, I moved up to serve as the Varsity Offensive Line Coach. The following year, I transitioned into the role of Defensive Coordinator, a position I held for the next three seasons.

In 2021, I was honored to become the Head Football Coach—a role I’ve proudly held for the past five years. During that time, our team has compiled a 10-22 record, competing through one 8-man season, two JV seasons, and one varsity season. While the record may not reflect it, our program has made tremendous strides. We've grown from just 10-12 players to now consistently fielding 30-35 student-athletes. That growth is a direct result of the culture we’ve worked hard to build, and I’m excited about where we’re headed.

In addition to football, I also coach wrestling and baseball at the school. Coaching across multiple sports gives me a deeper connection to our athletes and allows me to support their development year-round.

I’m proud to be from New London. I grew up here, graduated from here, and I’m now raising my family here. My amazing wife Amanda is my greatest supporter—her encouragement allows me to pursue my passion for coaching. We have two sons: Landon, who will be a junior this year, and Braylon, who will be in eighth grade. Without their support, I couldn’t do what I do. They are my biggest motivation and the heart of everything I strive for.
