Eric Mitchell
~ 20th season coaching basketball at New London (seven w/ the boys, thirteen w/ the girls). Career Head Coaching Record is 143-142. Winningest Girls Coach in School History, Led school to first ever District Championship during the 2015-16 season. Been named FC COY three times, District COY once, and Northwest District COY once. Won back-to-back FC championships in 2023-24 & 2024-25 seasons.
~ 11th season coaching football at New London (7 seasons as varsity assistant, 4 seasons as JH coach).
Married to my wife, Jill (Thomas) Mitchell for 22 years. We live in New London. We have four children. Raeann, 18, is a senior at NL, Jackson, 16, is a sophomore, Isaac, 12, is a seventh grader, and Willow, 4, is in preschool. This is my 18th year teaching at New London, and currently, I am the K-6 Physical Education teacher at New London.
